The quality of the sawdust pellet machine mold is also divided into good and general. The service life of the mold is usually calculated by the production time. The life of the general quality mold is about 800-1200 hours, which means that the general quality mold is produced in the pellet machine after 1000 hours. It’s basically dead; the best quality ring dies have a lifespan of around 1500 hours. However, paying attention to maintenance and maintenance at ordinary times can prolong the life of the sawdust pellet machine mold.

Maintenance of sawdust pellet machine mold:

1. When the die of the sawdust pellet machine is not in use, extrude the remaining raw materials, so as to prevent the heat of the die from drying and hardening the material remaining in the die hole, resulting in no material or ring die cracking.

2. After the sawdust pellet machine mold has been used for a period of time, check whether there are local protrusions on the inner surface of the ring mold. If there is, the protruding part should be ground off to ensure the output of the ring die and the service life of the pressing roller.

3. When loading and unloading the die of the sawdust pellet machine, the surface of the ring die cannot be hammered with a hard tool such as a hammer.  

4. The ring die must be stored in a dry and clean place; if it is stored in a humid place, it will cause die hole corrosion, thereby reducing the service life of the sawdust pellet machine die.
